Scrap'n Stamp- Monster Party

I decided to make two different cards but very simple to replicate.  I pulled out the Hero Arts Monster Greeting stamps set and the misti.  I stamped all the images on to Cansans water colour paper, using Versa Fine black onxy ink.  I also stamped some images from an old Lawn Fawn set to fill in the empty spaces.  While I was stamping I pulled out some of my alcohol ink backgrounds and stamped a couple of the monsters onto them.  For all the images I heat embossed with clear poweder

I used the New Nuvo Sparkling Powder for the stamped background panel.  I sprinkled it all over and sprayed a lot of water to get the look I wanted.  I did it a few times dabing off in between layers and letting it dry.  I love these praticular colours

While that background panel was drying I pulled out my stencils and texture paste and went to town.

I did two panels with the balloon stencil.  First I mixed the green Nuvo powder with water and then the texture paste and spred it over the stencil.  I really liked how it turned out so I decided to do the same with the red powder.

I die cut the word sentiments “Party” and “Celebrate” as well as the stitched Star numerous times from heavy weight card stock and layered them together to add dimesion.  I used the coordinating dies from the Monster Greetings to cut out the little monster I had previously stamped on some alcohol ink background scraps I had.

For the red card I layerd the stamped background on to white card stock using my foam tape.  I left a white edge and then adheared the panel on to the card base which is a standard A2.  I added the layered star and party sentiment on to the panel and finished it off with some Tonic glitter brush.

For the green card I layered the embossed panel directly on the card base, also using foam tape.  I popped up the monster and added the sentiment.  To finish the card off I used some Hero Art umbre yellow sequins.

I am sorry for the lack of detail in this post.  The flu has hit our house hard.  I hope you found some inspiration for the Hero Art Monster Greeting Stamps.  I have linked to most of the products used for these cards.  Unfortunatly with some of these I either could not find a link or they have been retireed.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Please stay tuned for more fun to come, and subscribe to my email list to hear about the latest blog hops, giveaways and more.
