Card Share, Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Good Afternoon my fellow crafty friends.

Hope you are having a wonderful week so far and that you are enjoying some crafting time as well.

My week has been really busy with so many appointments that i have not really had a lot of time to be in my craft room and create. Fortunately this morning i was able to pop out a cute card that was inspired by a new friend from YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Her name is Sparklycanadiancraftygirl. You should check her out on Youtube. She always has such cute stuff to share. We decided to do a card exchanges and possibly a letter pocket exchange. I am so excited, nothing nicer then having some crafty pen pals to send "happy mail" to. So Bellow is the card I created, which was inspired by a few of her YouTube card shares.

I have also decided to enter the simonsaysstamp WensdayChallenge which was Anything Goes.  http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/

Hope you enjoy, and thank you so much for stopping by.

I started by stamping all the images on white card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. i  then decided instead of coloring them all in i would paper piece all of them in. So I went through all of my scraps of patterned paper and came up with these and some solid gray as well. (All of which i am sorry to say i can not remember the companies they came from) . So re-stamped all the images on the different papers and cut them out  and adhered them to the previously stamped images.  I then die cut them all out using the coordinated dies. The base of the card is created using Simon Says Stamps Audrey Blue card stock. To all a little more interest i decided to stamp the background with the same ink color and the My Favorite Things "Snowfall"  background stamp set.   I took some of the 12 x 12  "lets Polka Mon Amie" patterned paper and die cut it using the Wplus9 "Sunshine layers die" I used the same set for the dark pink card stock which was from Bazzill ( i believe). For the focal point of the card, i decided i wanted a little more stitching, so i used the Lawn Fawn Stitched journaling card die to die cut the white base. I stamped the main sentiment using Hero Arts Ombre ink and stamp from Hampton Arts and Graphic45. I adhered it all together, using my scotch ATG and foam tape to add dimention. Once i had done that i added the cute die cuts with the foam tape as well and finished the card off with some pink, and blue sequins and white and silver lawn trimmings from Lawn Fawn.
I just love how this card turned out.

This lovely cute. Is from My Favorite things.

Its the "You Have My Heart" stamp set. I also die cut the circle using My Favorite Things stitched circle Die-namics.
I stamped this using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored the images using my Copic markers. The majority of the  sentiment is from KaiserCraft, "Best friends" stamp set. I stamped this on some vellum using VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with white detail embossing powder from Ranger. It honestly didn't tune out 100% good so I had to think on my feet as the embossing did not come out so clear for the first part  of the sentiments. To fix it I decided to selectively stamp the "your friendship" from a sentiment from Simon Says Stamps Lots of Thanks set.  I stamped in on white and created a little banner. The base of the card was made using the wood grain paper from Simon Says Stamps. I die cut the scallop circle from the same paper using Lawn Fawns scalloped circle die.  The stripped paper that the vellum is on is  also from Lawn Fawn, its is from their 12x12 "Lets Polka Mon Amie" collection. As for the the pink scallop frame, the paper is from Michael's and I die cut that using the Wplus9 " Sunshine layers" die set.
