Couple new cards and life update

Good morning all my crafty friends. Hope your weekend was great, fully of memory making and fun crafting time.

So sorry its been a little while since i been able to post an actual post. We are coming down to the final weeks before we move, So its been really crazy, messy and a tad claustrophobic for me which really doesn't help with my creative flow. I also been working on some card orders and have not had time to get online as much as i would like.

Thought I am so so grateful for the orders and really enjoying the process. I wanted to share a few of the cards i have created for my clients. This card  is a prototype of a set i plan to make. Feedback would be very helpful and totally welcome.

For this card, I used a variety of different products which include: Dream Weaver Embossing paste, Faber Castel  Silver Gelato. Archival Ink from Ranger, Simon Says Stamps dotted Chevron stencil Winnie&Walter "This Awesome House stamp set, Taylored expressions "Happy New Home" Stamp set, Paper Smooches "Congratulations" die. All paper was Recollections black and white card stock 60lb and 110lb. Ranger's Liquid Platinum embossing powered  and Black ribbon from Offray.

I started with the background of the card ,i mixed my embossing paste with the silver and then applied it to my stencil, getting this really cool textured background.  As i let that dry i worked on the main panel of the card, I stamped my house image using versa mark, and  covered it with liquid platinum embossing powder and set it. I rounded the corners with the We R Memory Keepers corner chomper and attached the panned using Scotch foam tape.
I die cut the congratulations out of black card stock and adhered that to the top of the panel.
I then wrapped black ribbon around the card and tied it into a simple knot bow  to finish it off.

Inside the card I used the sentiment that came in the Taylored expressions New Home stamp set, i stamped this in Archival Black ink from Ranger. To finish it of  a little more i used the same stencil and silver gelato and added a little border at the bottom.
