Christmas Cards Mini Seriese 2
The first card I will share with you was very simple to create, yet packs a punch with interese.
I started off with a standard A2 card, and cut down some bristol card stock to 5¼ by 4 which I used to create the whole card with. I started out by distressing the pannel with salty Ocen and peacock feathers distress oxides.
Once it was dry enough I took the snow man stamp from the carved Christmas 3 collection and stamped with versamark, and heat set it with the Rangers sticky embossing powder. I then took some of my silver deco foil and went over the snow man.
I then Die cut the snow man out from the whole panel, I decided I wanted to pop him up and also add some more intrese to the back ground. I uesed the Hero Arts Nesting rectangle dies to cut out the middle of the panel
From there, I pulled out the new Holly snowflakes stamp set from Mama Elepant, I stamped a few different sizes of the snowflakes over the die cut panels with versamark sticky ink and went back over it with Perfect Pearls powder to add some suttle intrest in the background.
Now it was time to essemble but before I did that I decided to add some black soot to the egdes of each panel to make it pop just that bit more. To be honest since I took a card class at my local shop, I have been obsessed with using black soot on everything. Lol I layered the snow man on some silver glitter card stock, poping it up with foam tape. I added the frame to the card base and then popped up the the two layers again with more foam tape. I really like how the card turned out, simple yet has an impact.
At the top of the blog is a sneak peek of the next card in the seriese. I have linked to all of the product for both sets of cards at the bottom.
