Christmas Rush!!!

Good Morning, all my crafty friends.  I am sorry that i have not posted in a little while.
Life has gotten a little crazy as the holidays are approaching!!!! But i am sure you all can relate.
I am not sure about you but my creative flow has been a little lacking, maybe its the rush to get everything done or maybe its having too many options in my stash these days.  ( I am very grateful  for this thought )  :-)

Have you ever had too many stamps to choose from, buy things because they are cute and then oh no they just sit there waiting to be used. Lol  :-) Well i have to say this is the case at the moment. I have  a few new sets that i cant wait to get my hands on and start playing with but then something else calls my attention.  Ah such is life though.

Here is some of the new projects  using those stamp sets.

Card Set #1: I  created this set using My Favorite Things 'You shine" stamp set
I colored the cute image in using Copic markers. I created the large white background using My Favorite things large stripped background stamp, I stamped it in Versa mark and used white embossing powder to create a tone on tone look. Too add a little detail I used some Silver Sparkle Lawn trimmings and Stitched Snowflake dies from Lawn Fawn. For one last finishing touch i used Glossy Accents from Ranger to add some dimension to the light bulbs. All the paper I used for this set of cards was from  Michaels.

Card set #2: I created these using Stampingbella's Uptown Couple : Brent and Brenda get Married.  For the sentiment on the front as well as inside the card i used the My Favorite things stamps set, which has no designated name. I believe its an older set. I decided to go really glitzy for the bride and groom using glitter for both the wedding dress and suit. For the bride's dress i used Crystal Glitter Ritz and for the train of the dress i decided to try out the Polar white Flower Soft.  For the groom I used Recollections Charcoal glitter.   For the rest  of the images i colored them in using Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment inside the card using Simon Says Stamps lipstick red ink, and for the front i used Versa Fine onyx black ink. For the mounting papers,  i used black card stock from the recollections collection, patterned paper was KaiserCraft and the Silver card stock was also from Michaels, but I am  not sure what brand.

Card Set #3  I created these little guys using the Penny Black "Lets party" stamp. I did all coloring using Spectrum Noir pencil crayons and blending solution.  Too add a little shine to the balloons i used my Wink of Stella glitter pen and finished it off with the Glossy Accents by Ranger.  To cut out the card base and layered piece with the image I used the Large and small  stitched rectangle dies from Lawn Fawn.

Thank you for taking the time to come check out my blog. I can not say how much i appreciate it.

I also wanted to take a second to share with you some news. Back in November I took part in a Challenge on the Cards in Envy website. I am excited to say that i received another In the mail box blog badge, for Karen's Personal favorite for my thank you card.
I am so truly grateful and excited for this.
