The Flow is BACK!!!!!
Well its been about a week and a half since I really got in to the grove of making cards. I don't know about you, but it really bites! To have a lack of ideas or "CREATIVE FLOW" when you know you have things to make. That is what has happened to me, that and I could not concentrate on anything for more then 5 minutes at a time. ( hence the last post -- those cards took me two weeks to create. lol talk about slow progress.!!. hehe ) So needless to say not much would get done. But by golly today was a first in what seems like a very long time that I was able to sit and really focus on making cards. WAHOOO!! Actually the ideas just kept coming, so fast in fact i could not keep up and then i forgot them. Lol How funny is that... Any who I am sure that they will pop back into my head in time. But the ideas i was able to manifest into creations, i am really proud of and though I would post them for you to see.
I am truly loving Stampingbella's stamps, they are so much fun to color and create with.
This stamp set is from the uptown collection, and it is called "Eve under the mistletoe"
I colored her using Copic markers. I then decided i wanted to make her dress more 3d so i used the Polar white Flower Soft for the whites of her dress. I feel it really added something fun. The patterned paper is from Lawn Fawn and the black card stock and white card base is from Michaels. The ribbon i purchased from Walmart.
These two little guys are my first use able attempt at shaker cards. The first ones i actually made where not something i wanted to share.
The stamp is from Crafters' Companion - Bebunni collection. I water colored him in using Tim Holtz Distress inks as well as a set of water color paints from Michaels. The back ground paper is Lipstick red from Simon Says Stamps, I also embossed it using the Magical Time embossing folder from the wrapped in joy collection by Couture Creations.
The frame for the top card was cut out using Lawn Fawn Stitched rectangles both large and small.
The card below is created using the same elements,
accept i die cut the middle of the red cards stock using the
Spellbinders lable one die, and then embossed the
background using My Favorite things Snow flake
background stamp. Lastly i used Paper Smooches scallop
circles and American craft Nesting circles to place
the sentiment on. Finished the top card off with white dash lines
and the bottom with some Lawn Trimmings.
