Scrap'n Stamp Stampember Blog Hop

When I had seen the die we were sent I knew immediately what I wanted to create, It just went so well with the mini mail die-namic from My Favorite things. All the products I used will be linked below

So to begin.. I found some patten paper that I though would work really well, and let me tell you I not used my pattern paper in quiet some time.. It seems to be more a collection then something to use haha I started with a 5/½ x 4¼ black card base which I created.

I also cut down some purple paper from the Lawn Fawn water color 6x6 pad to 4 1/8  x 5 3/8  I used both the lighter and darker shades of paper for these cards.

I pulled out my Doodlebug Love Bug 6x6 pad (from a few years ago) and found what to me looks like a big word search pattern. I cut that down to 4 x 51/4 and then took to my Big shot to die cut the edges using the Postage edge die.

I followed that by die cutting some white cardstock and colored paper using the bigger postage strip, this would be what I used for the inside of the envelopes and to decorate the outside of the envelope.

From there I took the Mft mini mair die-namics and die cut many envelopes from the same colored paper and black card stock, I adhered them and added spectrum noir clear glitter on to them.

Next, I took to my stamp stash and pulled out the Happy Mail stamp set from Mama Elephant. This set is so cute and matched my idea perfectly

I heat embossed it with Versa Fine Black Onxy ink and clear embossing powder. I then took to stamping the little tiny postage pieces with sentiments from  Clearly Besotted

As I looked at how it was all turning out I  felt I needed to draw more attention to the panel, as the postage edging was getting lost, so I pulled out my black soot distress ink and edged all the side of the panel.

From there I put all the mini envelopes together, stamped the sentiments and decorated the outside of the soot with the mini purple postage pieces I had previously  die cut down form the original strip. I stamped on a heart and colored it in with my wink of Stella Black and then went over with the glossy accents.

I adhered everything on to the card  using  my Tombo mono multi glue,  I used 3m foam tape to pop up the distressed word background as well as the envelopes.  To finish it all off i went around the balck of the card base with my spectrum noir glitter pen just to add a little more shine.

I really quiet like how these turned out.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog, I do hope you leave me a comment and let me know what you thought.
