Quick little note and card share
Good Evening crafty friends.
Hope you are all doing well!
Wow has the time flown by, it is already March.
It seems like its been forever since I have posted and i am really sorry for that. There has been a lot of life events happen in the last little while, some to family members and some to me. Some great and very exciting and some very sad. One of which is the fact that we are moving . So with that being said its been all about the packing and organizing, and between that working on some wonderful card orders that have come in. So needless to say that is where my focus has been the last little while. I hope to change that once I am finally all moved in and unpacked. I will try and pop in and post some cards that i create to keep the blog updated It just might not be as regular as I would like, but I will post.
Anyways I hope you all have a wonderful evening and a very crafty weekend.
Thanks for taking time to check out this little blog and my work, it means the world to me.
Oops forgot to add the cards I created.
Unfortunately I had to make two set of these card recently. So I made these using #michael's paper, vellum and sentiment stamps , ink butterfly dies and pearl gems from #simonsaystamps . The background was stamped using #heroarts cling flower background stamp. I started with the base of the card using Recollections' 8 1/2 x 11 purple card stock (in two shades), cut it down to make into the A2 cards (5 1/2 x 4 1/4). I cut the white card stock (also Recollections) down to 5 1/4 x 4 this allowed for a nice little border. I then stamped the background using Simon Says Hydrangea ink. Then I layered the white vellum over it and attached it using Rangers glossy accents. I die cut the middle section using the #spellbinders nestabilites label 4 die out of the same purple card stock . As well I die cut the butterflies from the #simonsaystamps butterflies die set, using the same purple card stock and white vellum. For the sentiment I used Ranges Archival Black ink and Recollections stamp set, then adhered the sentiments to the cards using Scotch foam tape. For the finishing touches I added the pearls to all of the corners of the card, added Wink of Stella glitter to the die cut butterflies, layered them on top of the vellum butterflies and adhered them to each card using #rangers glossy accents.
