Birthday Card Creations

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a great start to your week. I am here to share the collection of birthday cards I created for Rosemarie's Treasures. I hope you enjoy my cards and get inspired. I tried to keep them simple as I had to make them in bulk.

I was having so much fun with my distress inks and heat embossing that i decided to do more cards with the emboss resist technique. Also something I learned from watching Youtube videos from Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner, and Amy Rysavy and many other wonderful crafter. I created this set of cards using the Emboss resist technique, I embossed a background stamp that I had in my stash, I then heat embossed it using white embossing powder, once that was done i pulled out all my distress inks and just played around with colors, I squished them on my craft mat and sprayed water to activate it and then when to town smooshing my images into the ink. I set them aside and let them air dry, The once they were dry I misted all the images with Gold Perfect Pearls, that I mixed with water in my mini mister, as well as Silver. I then die cut all the panels and extra white panels using the My Favorite Things Stitched basic edges die-namic die to create the different curves . I die cut the happy using the Mama Elephant happy die and stamped the big sentiments using Mama Elephant's Make a wish stamp set.

This cute window card was inspired by a video Jennifer McGuire posted a few years back now. In her video thought she embossed the butterflies and poped them up. For me i decided to keep it simple as i was making a whole bunch, I just used a few different colors of Bazzill card stock and die cut them and the card bases with the Simon Says Stamp Butterfly Drift die. I then glued them all into place on the cards and added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to add some sparkle. The sentiments on the card were embossed with Ranger Platinum embossing powered and the stamps I used from Cam and Chloe, Hampton Arts and Tim Holtz, Stampers Anonymous cling stamps

For these little cuties I started with my background which i die cut using the Lawn Fawn Snowy Backdrop die and then the card started to take shape from there. For the main image i used My Favorite Things Adorable Elephants stamps, I stamped them on Canson water color paper and colored them and the background using my Zig Clean Color Real brush makers and a water brush. The circle sentiment was stamped using Simon Says Stamps Circle Sayings. I die cut the images and the layered pieces using my American Craft nesting circle dies.
