Just A Little Update & Card
Good Morning my crafty friends,
Hope you are all doing well and have had time to create wonderful things.Sadly its been a very slow week and a bit for me on that front. I guess I just needed a break after creating so many cards for the Lasting Hearts card drive and Rosemarie's Treasures that I just needed to take some time to rest, which is always good to do and much needed at times.
So I did happen to create a cute shaker card for one of our friend's daughter who had just turned 1. I had a lot of fun making this card.
The idea to make it a pretty pink card started out from a card challenge I intended to take part in, the theme was pretty in pink. Well it kind of evolved into a shaker, (initially it was going to be a flat card).
The products I used for this cute card were the Lawn Fawn Large stitched rectangles, Critter ever after stamp and die set, stitched hills and grass border dies, Polka Mon Amie 6x6 paper for the castle and dragon. The little princess was from Kraftin Kimmies "Believe in Fairy tales" stamps set. The cloud background paper was from Eco park, the letters were die cut from My Favorite things stitched letters, and I used a lot of Wink of Stella for the border. For the inside of the shaker I used Pretty Pink Posh and Simon Says Stamp sequins.
I hope you liked this card and thank you for coming by. I am in the process of creating some invitations and custom orders, as well as cards for the Gray Matter Foundation, so please stay tuned :)
Have a wonderful week.
