My Favorite things Sketch and Color Challenge

Good afternoon lovely crafty friends.

I am here to share with you a card I created for the My Favorite things Sketch challenge as well as the Color challenge. This is the very first time I have taken part in one of their challenges and I have to say I really enjoyed myself, as it got me to use colors I never usually use and to think a little out side my comfort zone. The sketch was  MFTW2C272  and colors for the challenge were Daffodil, Sour Apple, Gumdrop green and Biscotti. I did not have exactly the same colors but I think  I made it work pretty good. I hope you like it and Play along http://www.cardchallenges.com

The products I used for this card were My Favorite Things Plaid paper pad, and Some Bunny loves you stamp set, which I stamped the bunny and chick with versa fin ink and then water colored them in with the Zig clean color real brush markers. For the bird feeder, llittle egg and sentiment I used the Simon Say Stamp Spring time critters set, as well as the Simon Says Stitched oval die set. For the grass and tulips I used the Lawn Fawn Meadow borders die set and for the little sunshine I used the WPlus9 Sunshine layers die set. I also used Carta Bella green patterned paper, which came in the Simon Say Stamp February card kit. for the strip behind the oval. I layered that on some champagne colored card stock from CTMH and then layered that on top of some Kraft card stock from Recollections.
