I am sorry I have been a little quiet.  I have been tending to some family things and needed to recharge my batteries creatively as well. 

Well it’s a new month and that means a new blog hop for Scrap’n Stamp Canada - YAY!

This month our blog hop and Scrap’n Stamp Challenge on facebook is focusing on water-colour techniques, using whatever mediums you like to create a water-colour look.  We would love to see what you create so come over and play for a chance to win there as well.

Paper Rose, Humming Bird Garden

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

I am on the blog today with a new set of cards for Paper Rose Studio featuring the beautiful HummingBird Gardens Stamp, Oval stitched frames and the Lovely wishes cling stamp. I really went into full spring with these cards. Bright bold and beautiful.

I really needed the pick me up with the color as the weather here has been very up and down with rain, snow, gray skies, and sunshine, to say spring has been a little disjointed would be an understatement. These cards really helped me get into the spring vibe and perk my mood up.

Hope you all had a wonderful week. Todays post in for Paper Rose Studio.

I am really enjoying my time with this team and working with such amazing products 

I am up in Canada and we have just been hit with more snow, so for my project I decided to bring in a little warmth and sunshine in. I know down in Australia its nice and warm, would really like to be there right now. But as our seasons are changing so is theirs and the mood board below reflects that. 

We have a facebook community, Paper Rose Community,  where we post challenge, giveaway and just share out work.  We would  love to see what everyone is creating with the paper rose products. The challenge going on right now is to use this mood board to create your projects using Paper Rose Stamps and dies. So be sure to check us out and play a long.

Scrap'N Stamp: Coffee with Friends

Hello and Happy Wednesday. 

I am on the Scrap’n Stamp Blog today sharing a new card created with one of the distressed oxide panels I created and shared in a recent blog post, using the color combinations Kristina Werners was show casing. 

I was had a few idea's float around in my head as we have an upcoming blog hop for the "Some Like it hot" challenge and I knew I could only share one of my creations so I thought I would keep with the theme and create this lovely card. Hope you are all having an amazing week.  I am on the blog today for Paper Rose Studio. I am just loving their product and being part of this amazing group of women. So much encouragement, compassion and understanding and Oh the talent.

Hello New Adventure

I am so so very excited that I can finally share the news that I have made it on the Official Scrap’N Stamp design team! 

I have loved being part of the blog hops with all of the amazing designers, but to be part of something that is more official, is really exciting and worth all the work.  I have to say it has not been easy, with alot of up’s and downs and rejections, but you just have to keep trying till the right fit comes along.  I share that so those that are in the same position know not to give up because we will all have our chance.

NOW, on to the cards.  I was so excited and having so much fun with the process that I went a little crazy and made 8 cards.  Which I call “Hello to new Adventures!”
