Scrap'n Stamp- Monster Party

Happy Thursday.

Today I am sharing some birthday cards in celebration of my little “monsters” turning 3 tomorrow... EEEK.  Where does the time go?

So needless to say its been a busy week.  On top of the kiddos getting sick, I too came down with it, so I needed to create some simple cards that still made an impact.  I am using some fun new products from Scrap’n Stamp

Cards in Envy Challenge- Getting Sketchy

Good Morning and Happy Monday.

I can not believe where the month is going, its time for a new challenge over at Cards in Envy.

The theme for this challenge is “Getting Sketchy” using any sketch to create your card.

I have to say I really liked this theme as here in Canada it is a long weekend and I was running out of time and Ideas for things so this really helped me get my crafty mojo going.

Some come on over to Cards In Envy and play along. Look forward to seeing all your creations.

Fun with Distress Oxides

This blog post was meant to go up over  a week ago but sadly life with children got in the way. Lol

I am popping in to share some fun cards and backgrounds I created using the new Distress Oxides that just came out.  The backgrounds were inspired by a recent video that Jennifer McGuire  shared, it was chalked full of fantastic ideas. I felt so inspired I just had to go pull out a few of my stencils and background stampset and started playing.

Not only did I start playing with the orignial 12 distress oxides, I recieved a phone call from my craft store that the new ones had come in and the three I had preordered had been set a side. Can you say happy dance.
